New here? How cross-play works

☕ Java Edition

Multiplayer → Add Server → enter the address with the port, e.g. play.charliesplace.me:25567.

📱 Bedrock Edition (phone, console, Win10/11)

Servers tab → Add Server → address play.charliesplace.me and set the Port from the world you want (19142, 19130 or 19132).

🔗 One identity (optional)

Play on both Java and Bedrock? You can link your accounts so you keep the same inventory and claims on either device. Ask MrMe1776 to set it up.

🎮 Playing on Xbox, PlayStation or Switch?

Consoles don't have an Add Server button — Microsoft only allows the built-in “Featured Servers.” To reach our worlds you do a quick, one-time DNS trick that unlocks a server-entry menu. (Windows 10/11 and phones can just use Add Server — no DNS change needed.)

  1. Open your console's DNS settings and switch them to Manual:
    • Xbox: Settings → General → Network settings → Advanced settings → DNS settings → Manual
    • PlayStation: Settings → Network → Set Up Internet Connection → Custom → DNS Settings → Manual
    • Switch: System Settings → Internet → (your network) → Change Settings → DNS → Manual
  2. Set Primary DNS to the BedrockConnect server 104.238.130.180 and Secondary DNS to 8.8.8.8. On PlayStation having trouble? Use 45.55.68.52 as the primary instead.
  3. Save, then fully close and reopen Minecraft.
  4. Open the Servers tab and select any Featured Server at the top — a BedrockConnect menu appears instead.
  5. Choose “Connect to a Server” and enter:
    • Address: play.charliesplace.me
    • Port: 19142 (Sunset Summit) · 19130 (MrMe's) · 19132 (Creeper Kingdom)

The DNS routes your console through BedrockConnect (a free server-list helper) — it only matters while you're picking a server, and you can switch DNS back to Automatic any time. Tip: save each world in the BedrockConnect list so it's one tap next time.

⚠️ These are free, community-run addresses and can change over time. If console connections ever stop working, grab a current DNS IP from the BedrockConnect project page.
